nThe tropical nature of the Dominican Republic is one of the main tourist attractions in the country. Today we want to propose you a unique excursion that you can do from Punta Cana, and that includes a visit to three places where the landscapes will leave you speechless.

nThe first of them is Round Mountain, a place that has become famous in recent years for its panoramic view over the Caribbean, where snapshots on a swing that looks towards the horizon have made it one of the most photographed places in Dominican Republic.

n洛斯海蒂斯国家公园 is our next destination on the map, an area where the sea, mangroves, jungles and even archaeological remains hidden in caves, reveal all the natural charm that the country offers. Its small hills full of vegetation are also the perfect place for bird watching that you will only find here.

nInside the park there is another magical place: Yanigua Ranch Waterfalls. This spectacular waterfall is the perfect place to disconnect from the tourist crowds of Punta Cana, surrounded by a thick vegetation that makes us think that we are more than 100 kilometers from the nearest town, although it really is not like that.

Itinerary of the tour

nThe itinerary of this excursion is as follows:

  • 06:50 a.m. – Pick you up at your hotel.

    • n

  • 08:30 a.m. – Arrival at round mountain, a unique landscape in the whole country.

    • n

  • 10:30 a.m. – Departs from Sabana de la Mar towards the Haitises National Park by speedboat. On the way we will see exotic birds, and we will arrive at the 洞穴 where you can see indigenous paintings.

    • n

  • 12:30 p.m. – Go deep into the jungle until we reach the Yanigua Ranch Waterfalls, a perfect place to have lunch and take a dip. You can also take a therapeutic mud bath.

    • n

  • 02:00 p.m. – You can taste coffee and cocoa from local farms and ranches.

    • n

  • 03:00 p.m.– Visit the blue amber mine.

    • n

  • 04:30 p.m. – Stop at a photographic viewpoint where you can see the splendor of the Haitises National Park.

    • n

  • 05:00 p.m. – Finally, a guide will take us to one of the most curious constructions of the place, the Tarzan’s house, which is located in a tree over 100 feet high.

  • 06:00 p.m. – Return to the hotels with our transportation.
